Summary of Facts: Bailey, a bartender at Triple Century Sports Bar, was sent on two (2) weeks’ vacation leave after learning that he had not benefited from same since his employment at the company. The leave was immediate and after the time lapsed, the aggrieved worker did not resume his duties at the company. In the absence of credible evidence, The Tribunal had to determine whether the aggrieved worker was terminated in an ad hoc manner, or whether he abandoned his job. After much deliberation and scrutiny, it was found that the aggrieved worker repudiated his contract by way of abandoning his job.
